Young Leaders Group
Cocktails and Conversations with…Hipolito “Paul” Roldan
President & CEO, Hispanic Housing Development Corporation
Tuesday, March 3, 2009
As Hispanic Housing Development Corporation’s (HHDC) founder and CEO, Mr. Roldan has developed more than 3,100 affordable housing units and over 82,000 square feet of retail and office space. HHDC is considered one of the most productive and crucial development organizations in the city for its efforts to pump life into underdeveloped areas, stabilize rampant gentrification, and create community jobs. In addition, Mr. Roldan has been recognized on a national level for his work in community development, including the prestigious John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation Fellowship.
This will be an open and intimate conversation, which will allow Young Leaders to get up-close and personal with an individual many refer to as the “affordable housing czar” and one of ULI Chicago’s finest leaders.
