Breaking into the Green Job Sector on Monday, April 20, 2009

The U.S. Green Building Council - Chicago Chapter, University of Illinois at Chicago Urban Planning & Policy Student Association, and the University of Illinois at Chicago Real Estate Group have partnered to bring an interdisciplinary panel discussion for students and young professionals on jobs in the sustainable industry.

Leading industry professionals from the fields of architecture, engineering, policy, nonprofit and real estate will be answering questions about their experiences in the green economy: how they got there, what’s happening next, and practical advice for students wanting to establish a career in the green sector.

Panelists will include Laurel Berman from the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry, Marcus Davis from Grubb & Ellis, Rand Ekman from OWP/P, and Mike McDermott from Environmental Systems Design. The panel will be moderated by Kindy Kruller from Delta Institute.

Pre-registration is required for this event.
