Joseph R. Biden, Jr., Vice President of the United States of America,
will deliver the keynote address at the Fifth Annual Richard J. Daley
Urban Forum.

The Forum will focus on the most pressing issue facing cities around
the world: recovery from a global economic crisis that has imperiled
both public and private finance and cost citizens their jobs, homes
and access to healthcare and education. Municipal leaders from cities
around the globe will lead a discussion with scholars and corporate
executives in an intimate and interactive dialogue concerning how
cities can lead the way to global economic recovery.

Municipal leaders from the following international cities are expected
to participate in the Forum: Algiers, Bangkok, Beijing, Belgrade,
Busan, Cartagena, Casablanca, Chicago, Doha, Dubai, Galway, Glasgow,
Hamburg, Helsinki, Jeddah, Kuwait City, Kyiv, Lahore, Manila, Moscow,
Nairobi, Paris, Petach Tikva, Prague, Reykjavik, Riyadh, Santo
Domingo, Shenyang, Soriano, Tripoli, Vilnius, Windsor, and others.
